Here in Washington state, to climb Mt Rainier with an outfitter - $ 1000-1500...In Alaska, climbing Mt McKinley- $ 5000 But Kazahstan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan- poor ass country, where US Dollar goes a long way... I bet, it has a lot to do with insurance, liability and all that crap.... I don’t really get it either.
