The loss of a friend in the mountains is so permanent.
Sante was lost to me, probably at the same location on Manaslu as your Levi. The loss is personal, never it departs.
Manaslu is the mountain that I most strongly and personally felt the force of the power of a deity or mountain that was so vengeful and destructive.
